Weston residents can donate desperately needed items to the Weston Community Food Pantry on Saturday during a food drive sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Weston.

WESTON, Conn. – Weston residents can help restock the depleted shelves of the Weston Community Food Pantry this weekend at the Kiwanis Club of Weston's annual food drive.

The drive will be held Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at two different locations: Peter’s Market, 190 Weston Road, or Ancona’s Market, 720 Branchard Road in Ridgefield. Items can be dropped off or purchased at both locations.

The Weston Community Food Pantry is seeking the following items:

Dry Cereal

Instant Oatmeal

Pancake Mix

Pancake Syrup

Canned Fruit

Canned Beans

Juice

Chicken and Beef Broth

Rice

Canned Tuna

Canned Chicken

Peanut Butter

Jelly

Mayonnaise

Mustard

Salad Dressings

Those wishing to help Kiwanis and Key Club members during the drive may contact First Selectman Gayle Weinstein at gweinstein@westonct.gov or 203-226-0514 to volunteer.
