11 wildly successful people who never went to college

For all parents, having their children earn their college degree is such a life accomplishment. They want their children to finish college, get a nice job, buy their own house and have a car, raise a family, and become happy and successful. It may not always be that simple, but it all starts with your college education.

People want to get their college degree so that they can open up opportunities in life. Having a degree helps you be prepared both intellectually and socially. By finishing your college course, it gives you confidence that you have an edge when it comes to dealing with your career and life as a whole. The benefits of a college education include career opportunities like better paying and higher-skilled jobs, but studies have shown that it also leads to overall happiness and stability.

Perhaps, the most common reason that drives us to get our college decree is for us to be able to earn more money. A post-secondary degree, whether it is a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD, is the most common route to careers that demand higher skills and offer higher pay.

However, there are also some exceptions to this idea. Apart from your educational attainment and the position you are in, earnings vary depending on what field you work in. For example, a master’s degree in education or nursing won’t lead to nearly as much wealth as a master’s degree in engineering or business.

Another benefit of having a college degree is better opportunities when it comes to choosing your career. When students enter college, many of them do not know what they want to do when they graduate. But most know they want to have a better job-not only one that will pay more, but one in which they are more satisfied and secure.

However, there are a lot of situations where people fail to finish college. It may be financial, or any reason that has led them to drop out.

Luckily, opportunities don’t end for those who did not graduate from college. There are some people who find success in life despite dropping out of college.
